was this taken on Feb 18.759? Wow, this is definitely the first spectrum! Such a huge change to today's spectra!

Forgive me Hamish, I was wrong to attach the file. Now that's right.

the spectrum looks great. I hope you are able to collect some more. with the northern and southern observers all able to observe it, it might be possible for us collectively to collect a good time series to study the evolution of this quite fast nova.

Chiao Umberto,

Nice observation !! You're one of the few people who shows your results here, so it seems that all has stopped.
Congratulations !! I hope that it encourages people to observe and expose their outcomes here again.

Un forte abbraccio, Joan.

I've been following this nova this week. It rises quite late in the morning so I have limited time to collect data. Its also fading quite rapidly so the SNR is falling away as well.

The best quality spectrum I have is for 23 February 2023. I've marked the most prominent lines. Resolution is around 1200. Taken with a UVEX mounted on a Planewave CDK 12.5. I'm surprised at the strength of the He II line - perhaps I have misidentified it so corrections and comments are welcome.

Also attached are spectra taken on 3 consecutive days.

I have some NIR data from 22 February 2023 but I have no reference star spectrum to apply to it and I'm not confident with the result using another IR curve. If I manage to process it with SpecInti I'll post that too.

Pete
