I have had a request from the amateur supernova search team XOSS for a spectrum of a possible supernova AT 2020scc near NGC2782.
https://wis-tns.weizmann.ac.il/object/2020scc
It is low in the dawn sky and may not get a professional spectrum. It may be too low for me because of trees but it is bright at mag 13.5 currently so would be a potential target for an ALPY for example or even a Star Analyser. If anyone gets a good enough spectrum to make a classification I can advise on how to submit it to TNS.
Cheers
Robin

Now classified as a type Ia supernova by Italian amateur Claudio Balcon. Congratulations to Claudio and the XOSS team for their discovery !
