Version 6.0.3 reports lower resolutions for same Alpy data

Post by John Coffin »

Hi, I upgraded my ISIS from version 6.0 to 6.0.3 today.
I was surprised to find that my Alpy spectrum was reported as having a resolution of 455. I reinstalled version 6.0 and processed the same data and the resolution was 527.
Then I went back and reprocessed some more data and found a similar discrepancy between the two versions.
Does anyone know why this should be?
Thanks, John

I can confirm this.

I see a difference between 6.0.3 and 5.9.3 (my standard as I prefer the black body correction to the response) 5.9.3 gave R=537 and 6.0.3 gave 522 using the same data and the same xml file so the settings should have been identical

Cheers

Comparing the log files I see there is a difference in the X1, X2 limits. I do not know what these are or how they are used but perhaps they have something to do with it?
