Hi All,
Hopefully Meteoblue was right tonight, showing only a two hours clear sky over Pyrénées Mountains. The time to take a spectrum of this Nova, without filter :

Intensity of the Halpha remain strong with an intensity at 15.50.

Bonjour à tous
la nuit dernière fut une premiere lumiere pour UVEX(4).
A cette occasion la Nova Per 2020 était un bon test.
last night was a first light for UVEX (4).
On this occasion the Nova Per 2020 was a good test.

Félicitation à tous pour tous les spectres !
Pierre, le spectre est fin sur toute la longueur, c'est une bonne nouvelle pour l'UVEX 4. On attend la suite !

Update of the light curve and monitoring
We have now 130 spectra in the database.

A spectrum taken the Dec. 13, by using a very small refractor, a Takahashi FS60 (60 mm diameter) and the Sol'EX spectrograph (1200 lines/mm grating + 10 microns slit) + 4 x 900 seconds exposure:
The resolution is R=3200 by using the these configuration (not optimal, the very first light on star of a spectrograph optimized for solar observation ->
http://www.spectro-aras.com/forum/viewt ... 8&start=10). The setup for nova observation:

Hello ,
After days of bad weather, I have observed the Nova last night, that is the result.
Greetings, J. Guarro.

Hello all,
Finally a clear sky for several days...The following spectrum of the Nova Per 2020 was obtained last night the 15th of December at 20 h 12 TU with my Alpy 600 (resolution of 533, JJ = 2459199.3419) and an acquisition time of 65 min :

- Nova Per 2020 on December 15th, 2020
- _novaper2020_20201215_842_Christophe Boussin_3700_7565.png (81.4 KiB) Viewed 6459 times

- Nova Per 2020 on December 6th and 15th, 2020 (zoom).
The relative intensity of the [OI] line at 6300A seems to increase and the red part of the spectrum seems also to evolve.
Clear skies,
Christophe BOUSSIN

Placez une comparaison du jour 16-12-2020 avec les jours 14 et 15 12-2020. La variation de l'OI et du CaII est significative. Les profils ont été obtenus en interposant un filtre rouge.

Hello,
You can see two spectra comparison in the near infrared.
Cheers, J. Guarro.
