Too faint for an eShel spectrum, but we can try with the Alpy 600.

Re: AT 2024fjh -another LMC nova?
A spectrum taken last night by Pascal from our team 2SPOT with our Alpy 600 spectrograph in Chile : 4 exposures of 1200s.
The target is near mag. V=14, so easy target with an Alpy 600
and the spectrum with all Balmer's lines in emission and double pics.
Next spectrum this night....

And another spectrum taken last night always with an Alpy 600, 6 exposures of 1200s because the target is going fainter than yesterday.
We can see that each peak splits into two. This the velocity graph of Balmer's lines
Evolution of the whole spectrum in one day
and the evolution of H Alpha structure in one day
and thanks to Steve Shore, an ATel with contributions from observers in the southern hemisphere with spectra by Peter Velez and Hamish Barker
