Je viens d'installer la V5 et je la trouve vraiment très bien conçu, plus facile à maitriser (les divers étapes sont bien répertoriées) et l'on comprend parfaitement ce que l'on fait à chaque étape.

En tout cas, bravo et merci.

Une question tout de même :

Dans le cas du LISA, une fois avoir calculé la réponse instrumentale, on repasse donc à l'étape 2. Général pour changer de cible (CI Cyg dans ton exemple). J'ai remarqué que tu conservais le flat de l'étoile de référence. J'en conclu qu'il n'est pas nécessaire de faire un flat pour chaque cible avec le LISA ?

Sinon, les explications que tu indiques sur la manière d'obtenir la courbe de réponse la plus fidèle possible est très bien illustré, on comprend l'équilibre qu'il faut trouver entre une courbe trop lissé et une autre qui rentre trop dans les détails (des raies telluriques).

Content que cette version t'apporte un plus - ce sont nos discussions au cours de stage ou en privé avec certains qui conduisent à ces améliorations.

Pour ce qui concerne le courbre de réponse intrumentale, l'exemple pris montre bien ce que je fais :
je ne réalise pas un courbe de réponse systématiquement. Ici l'étoile de référence est vraiement
proche de la cible (ou des cibles) de la nuit, elle est valable dans ces conditions. Faut pas trop
s'ajouter des difficultés. Bien sur si la cible est très lointaine en hauteur par rapport à l'horizon (disons
20° d'écart par rapport à la référence qui a permis de calculer la réponse), alors je trouve une étoile
A ou B proche, et vite fait, je réalise quelques images nouvelles de références sur le pouce.

Faut aussi surveiller les conditions météo : si la transparence change, il faut pas hésiter à faire une nouvelle
courbe de réponse.

Dear Mr. Buil:

I am very very sad to tell you that according to those suggestions sent in Yahoogroup, I STILL can never use 5.0.2~~

1). I select smallest characters [my PC has 3 types: small (small is the standard and normal one);big;very big].
2). in "Appearance"---"effect": I uncheck "use big symble".
3). In "Screen resolution” function from desktop, my PC has: 800x600; 1024x768; 1280x600; 1280x720; 1280x768; 1366x768. Usually I just use 1366x768, this time I select 800x600, and plus (1)+(2) setup above, but ISIS can never work and no change. I can never see the contrast slider.

Another strange thing is that I have flat images in working directory as f-1.fit; f-2.fit... f-15.fit, open f-1, click >, image name displays f-11!

In old version 4.3.0, everything works very well. i.e. I name: rho_cas3'-1.fit, here 3'= 3 minutes. Even so 4.3.0 can recognize all images.

I'd like to ask you: if you have old 4.3.0 or others backup? If at last 5.0.2 i can not use, I have to use old one. Could you send me an old version? And I'd like to suggest that you put old versions link for us to download when we want to go back...

Hi Dong Li,

lessson 1: always a keep a copy of the old version before you try a new one. Since you seem to have a lot of trouble with your Chinese computer I try to help once and attach a copy of the previous version:

ISIS.4.4.0.Install.zip

latest ISIS version before V5

You can also try to reinstall the new version in a different directory.
See if it works.

Download version 5.0.3, now available (refresh Isis page
if necessary), test and give the resultat.

Thank you very much for old version, and now 5.0.3 can work.

P.S. many times I find that our forum sometimes can be opened on all PCs & at any time, but recently can not be opened on certain PCs. I remember that months ago this phenomenon happened, and at the initial time when I 1st registered in the forum, I had to use a special software called "jumpwall" to open forum indirectly, but I can always both fluently and DIRECTLY open any other french pages, including Mr. Buil's homepage, every time, and at any time. I have asked some computer experts who said that maybe this is caused by french computer- serving machine or system.

So I'd like to ask our forum's manager to fix this problem.
