Démontage Staranalyser

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai un staranalyser 100 assez ancien, que je viens de démonter car je dessine une pièce mécanique pour le monter avec le prism de 3.8° dans ma tourelle à filtre. Au démontage, j'ai eu la surprise de constater que le staranalyser comptait 2 pièces optique collées : une étant réellement le réseau et l'autre totalement transparente. Savez vous si cette pièce joue simplement le rôle de protection ou si elle a une utilité ? En effet, je souhaiterais la supprimer si c'est possible.

The (anti-reflection coated) clear glass is for protection. (The grating surface is very delicate and sensitive to moisture. It would easily be damaged if you touched it) I think newer Star Analysers are sealed units and cannot be taken apart.
You could replace the clear glass with the wedge prism. The grating would still be protected

Le star analyser est un réseau très fragile.
Il est collé sur une lame de verre puis recouvert par une autre. Elles n'ont que cette fonction de protéger le réseau. Je ne sais pour le traitement du verre ?
En plaçant le prisme en remplacement du verre, cela reste la bonne solution; mais il faut s'assurer que l'ensemble est étanche.

Risque d'humidité, puis de moisissures si l'ensemble n'est pas bien isolé.

J'avais eu un problème d'humidité sur une diapositive Jeulin de 300tr/mm; il en porte encore les stigmates en présentant des auréoles colorées. (pas de moisissures observées)

C'est vrai. Le manuel, que j'ai écrit , dit

"Care and maintenance
The Star Analyser has been designed and built to give many years of trouble free
service. It cannot be dismantled by the user. To protect the delicate diffraction grating
surface, it has been sealed between anti-reflection coated glass cover discs. The
sealed unit is fixed in the cell in the correct alignment.
As with any optical device, care should be taken to protect the optical surfaces. It
should be stored in its protective box when not in use. (After use, any dew which may
have condensed on the device should be allowed to evaporate before closing the box)
Avoid touching the glass. Any dust should be removed with a blower brush or clean
oil free canned air. More stubborn marks and fingerprints can be removed with care
using conventional lens cleaning techniques. (Lens cleaning fluids should be used
very sparingly to avoid the risk of seepage of the fluid between the glass elements)"

If you rebuild it, you could perhaps seal the edge so moisture cannot get in.

(Paton Hawksley considered making a grism version of the SA200 but the thickness would be too much for most filter wheels)
