Oscillant en état bas entre mag 11.5 et 12.5, elle a atteint mag 10 fin août (V).

Spectre obtenu le 8/09/2012.
Par rapport au spectre à l'état calme (15/01/2012), on note : l'effondrement des raies [FeVII] 5271 et 6087, l’affaiblissement des bandes bandes d’absorption TiO. A l'état d'outburt, le continuum d'étoile froide fait progressivement place à un continuum d'étoile de type A-F


Skopal et al. (2011) :
During active phases, we observe a significant cooling of the spectrum produced by the hot star
(e.g. Kenyon & Webbink 1984, and references therein). The event of outbursts could result from an increase
in the accretion rate above that which sustains the stable burning, which
leads to an expansion of the burning envelope to an A–F type (pseudo)photosphere (e.g. Tutukov & Yangelson 1976;
Paczynski & Rudak 1980). As a result, the pseudophotosphere will radiate at a lower temperature, and consequently shift the
maximum of its SED from shorter to longer wavelengths, caus-ing a brightening in the optical
