Hi, the UVEX project is very exciting. I've read all the documentation I can find. I need advice on buying a printer for this. I've tried various 3D printing services but they usually find something wrong with the STL files, saying the thickness of various parts is incorrect, so I thought I'd buy a 'budget' printer. This would also be a good learning experience for me and more fun! The Original Prusa Mini+ has a printing volume of 18 x 18 x 18 cms. Would this be sufficient to print the UVEX?
Is it vital to print in PETG with carbon or does PETG alone have enough opacity?
Thank you for your advice.
John

Re: Printing advice needed
Hello john
Many of us use the PRUSA MK3I3 printer with satisfaction.
I do not know the mini, which looks so powerful. Below some dimensions of the case. Regarding the filament used, we opted for opaque black PETG.
UVEX (4) is operational, STLs available soon.
We remain at your disposal for further information.
