Suspected/Misclassified Symbiotics: spectra required

Hello 2SPOT,

You are right 2SPOT, it is what I do usually, but as I explained before, that night I had planned a comet session, C/2019L3 and C/2021A1.
I did TYC 1731-69-1 spectra meanwhile waiting for C/2021A1 rising, to not spend my time.

With comets bright enough to be observed there is no risk to mistake them with a star, so I did not programed to save a guider image.

By the way, how is the weather on the other side of the word?

Jaroslav, here the spectrum of TYC 1371-60-1, from your your target list.
The spectrum is taken by using a Newton 250 mm f/4 telescope and un Star'Ex spectrograph (3D printing setup) at the low resolution version (R=750) :



(no apparent Halpha emission at this resolution)

Le profil que tu affiches indique qu'il s'agit de TYC 1371-60-1, j'en étais resté à la liste postée par Jaroslav le 27/11, je ne trouve pas cette étoile, soit il y a eu une nouvelle liste de postée depuis soit il y a un problème de frappe ou autre, car dans la liste du 27/11 la seule étoile TYC est TYC 1371-69-1.

J'ai fait, (enfin je pense avoir fait) TYC 1371-69-1 récemment, il me semble que nos deux profils sont sensiblement différents, du coup j'ai des doutes soit sur le pointage de l'étoile soit sur le traitement du spectre que j'ai fait. Pour bien comparer les choses, il faudrait avoir les deux .fit des profils. Je n'ai pas le fichier de ton profil , mais toi tu peux charger le mien, j'ai mis un lien dans mon post du 3/12. Pourrais-tu essayer de tirer cela au clair ?

Ten days ago, I did a spectra of a suspected symbiotics star named TYC 1371-69-1.
As there was a doubt on the real identity of the star I caught; I had remove this uncertainty. So I did a meticulous inquiry which is now completed.

Now I can say that I don't know which star it was, but I can affirm that It was not TYC 1371-69-1.

So I have to apologize having suspected an innocent star, unknown, but an innocent one.

An update on the program proposed by Jaroslav:

Column 8: number of spectra in the database.

Orange: discripencies in the spectra. New observations needed. Please also send an autoguider image if possible.
Yellow: observable targets for the next weeks/months.

TYC 1371-69-1, Gaia 19dpl, Gaia 20fut: spectra shown on the forum , but not sent to the database (sauf erreur de ma part).

V5590 Sgr: clearly symbiotic with strong [Fe VII] as shown by Peter. A spectrum showing He II 4686 should be welcome.

AS 280 identification. @ Peter: if you have [OIII] 4959, you *must* have [OIII] 5007 about x3 more intense. Thus [OIII] 4959 should be removed.

Hello all,

Here is my new contribution to the suspected/misclassified symbiotic stars.
I obtained the following spectrum of TYC 1371-69-1 with a spectral range from 3700 to 7565 A the 12th of February at 20 h 52 TU with my Alpy 600 (resolution of 521, JJ = 2459623.3697) and an acquisition time of 130 min (13 x 600 s) :
