Hello,
Gregor Rauw and his wife Yaël Nazé from Liege University have finished a very exhaustive study of X-ray emission of Gam Cas during the 2020-2021 dics eruption; that study explains incidences in the all visible spectrum parts too.
They have had the kindness of including me as a co-author, you can see it here.

Yes great, Joan!
Yael reported with her talk at the VEGA 2022 about the results of this paper. It is been a pity that you weren't there.

Hallo Ernst,
You are right, it was a pity, but recently I have watched all the VEGA 2022 videos , twice some of them.
Really you can achieve in two very important things in VEGA 2022, first a strong connection, recognition and consideration pro/am and second the consolidation of a close collaboration in next observation campaigns.
Also is a pity for me that doesn't exist VEGA2023, and we need wait for VEGA2044,( I understand the reasons ).
Meanwhile we'll go to what happens this 28th/30th at the EAS 2022 in València.I guess François and I will have things to explain about.
Cheers, Joan.
