Introduction Gord Tulloch
Hi there - I'm an experienced Canadian amatuer astronomer very interested in spectroscopy. Currently I have a Star Analyser and RSPEC with my 10" Newtonian on an NEQ6 and I hope once my new micro-observatory is complete (see below, getting close!) I hope to build a Sol'Ex/Star'Ex for higher resolution spectroscopy. I look forward to learning a lot on this forum.

Re: Introduction Gord Tulloch
welcome Gord.
I strongly recommend that you try getting up to speed with ISIS or SpecInti as they do provide excellent tools for processing multiple sub exposure spectra at once, and with a little extra work automatic airmass calculation and intrinsic instrumental response correction. The only gripe I have with ISIS is that it can be a little fussy and/or clunky in terms of file handling, but otherwise provides the full suite of tools for processing slitless or slit spectra.
