Attached is a comparison of residual ripples (after removal of the broad continuum shape) in flats from low resolution spectrographs using different cameras
The direct comparison between the new ATIK camera ATK414 and the older ATK314L+ model on the ALPY 600 suggests that the increase in sensitivity of the new camera has not significantly increased the intensity of the already low level of ripples seen in the older camera.
Thanks to Peter Somogyi, David Boyd and Mike Potter for supplying the flats.

Re: a comparison of ripples in low resolution flats
Robin,
My ICX694 chip is in a SXVR-H694 CCD camera not an ATK460.
