Bonjour à tous.
Depuis plusieurs années, à l’intérieur de notre club astro, en équipe avec Yolande Buchet, nous partageons un intérêt plus marqué pour la spectroscopie. Après l’observation visuelle, l’imagerie argentique et numérique, la spectro nous est apparue comme le meilleur moyen de progresser en astronomie mais elle se heurtait à la difficulté de trouver ou réaliser des dispositifs de bon niveau.
Il a suffi de rencontrer la société Sheliak, la qualité de ses instruments et des conseils de ses dirigeants Olivier et François puis Christian, Valérie, et François Teyssier pour que tout devienne possible à partir de notre deuxième semaine à l’OHP.

Notre observatoire se trouve près de Poitiers (France, Centre Ouest Atlantique) et notre instrumentation se compose d’un C11 et d’un C8, d’un Lhires III et d’un Lisa. La caméra de guidage est une Lodestar X2 et la caméra d’acquisition, une QSI 583.
Nos projets: contribuer au suivi des étoiles Be, en y ajoutant les étoiles symbiotiques, Wolf Rayet et autres cibles accessibles.
Les rencontres OHP, avec l’entraide des participants, nous apportent beaucoup. Le Forum, auquel nous souhaitons nous joindre, prolonge cette assistance dans la durée, informe sur l’actualité et enrichit chacun de l’expérience et du questionnement des autres.

Hello to all
For several years, within our astro club, teaming up with Yolande Buchet, we share an interest more marked for the spectroscopy. After the visual observation, the silver and digital imaging, the spectro appeared to us as the best way to progress in astronomy but it ran into difficulties in the achievement of the specific equipments.
It was enough to meet the Sheliak company, the quality of its instruments and of advices of its managers Olivier and François, then Christian, Valerie, and François Teyssier so that everything becomes possible from our second week at the OHP.
Our observatory is near Poitiers (France, Centre West Atlantic) and our set up consists of one C11 and one C8, one Lhires III and one Lisa. The auto guiding camera is a Lodestar X2. and the acquisition camera is a QSI 583.
Our projects: contribute to the follow up of stars Be, by adding it the symbiotic stars, Wolf Rayet and other accessible targets.
The meetings OHP, with the mutual aid of the participants, bring us a lot. The Forum, which we wish to join, extends this support over time, informs about the currents events and enriches each one of the experience and of the questioning of the others.

it is a great pleasure to read you here! It will be very useful to exchange experiences and cooperate in observations. I had a lot of help from people you mentioned and other forum members... this is an excellent place for spectroscopy!
