T CrB High state

Here is a flux calibrated spectrum of T CrB taken last night, 9th April. The concurrently measured magnitudes of the star were B=10.20 and V=9.34.

The H-alpha emission line flux was 6.6 x 10-11 erg/cm2/s.

Yesterdays all night serie quick summary (29 x 10 minutes - while asleep):

comparative spectrum

Surprisingly, HeII 4686 did not seem to change much during last night (but will process via finer methods and do analysis later).
For now just picked 1 ref.star from the middle (but taken 4 at different levels, will try to use them).

congratulations to everybody for all these excellent spectra. Here is my modest contribution taken two nights ago with the DADOS spectrograph. For the first time the DADOS has reached a resolution of 800, not bad for a grating of 200 l/mm and a slit of 25 um. I wonder how does the DADOS will work with a more powerful grating of 900 or 1200 l/mm...
