Here's the evolution of AG Dra in one day.

Very strange.... Because now the emissions lines increase.

Re: Call for monitoring of AG Dra by R. Galis & al.
Hello,
a comparison of two spectra of AG Dra, one a month ago and the second, from this last night. A lot of changes I see: the blue wavelenghts show a increase of continuum and all emission lines are stronger. Definitively interesting, I will continue the monitoring (hélas, today the sky is cloudy). My only doubt: concentrate observations at low resolution or at medium resolution (R=5000) in 6500-7200 A?
Greetings
Fran

Nice result!
Joan's spectrum obtained the 16th shows an increase of the recombination lines; OVI reamin almost constant
I suggest R 5000 on 6500-7200 range

Re: Call for monitoring of AG Dra by R. Galis & al.
Here is my AG Dra spectrum from last night (19May17):

As usual, this was shot with my CDK17 reflector working at F/6.8 with LISA spectroscope and Atik 460ex CCD. I used the F4V miles star HD157373 to perform the IR correction.
The resolution was somewhat degraded (R= 537), because my grating focus-to-slit was off. That's been corrected so I should be back up to R=1000.
(When I switch btw my L-200/1800 l/mm grating spectroscope and the LISA, I always have to re-calibrate the slit-to-collmination lens focus for the LISA)
