If I try to select a CALSPEC star in the RESPONSE function, I get an error. The function looks for a file called m_vega.fit (a MILES spectrum which does not exist) instead of the CALSPEC spectrum C_VEGA.fit. The correct spectrum is called if the DATABASE function is used though.
Does anyone else see this bug?
Thanks
Robin

Re: ISIS database bug CALSPEC
Yes, me too (and using V5.5.2). "m_vega.fit est introuvable".

Re: ISIS database bug CALSPEC
Thanks Paul,
It has probably always been there then. CALSPEC spectra are not that easy to use with the Response function as they are in absolute rather than relative flux units so perhaps I will turn the bug to advantage and generate a set of normalised CALSPEC spectra prefixed by m-
