OT Problems with IRIS

I'm hoping that Christian may pick up on this message.
I'd like to use IRIS for the processing of spectroheliograms.
It seems to work well handling webcams and their AVI files.
My problem is getting IRIS to recognise the TIS DMK series cameras and the associated AVI files.
Can this, or has this, already been addressed?
Your help would be appreciated.
