Finding the reference star is sometime boring...

Post by Jean-Paul Godard »

During OHP2015, I spent lot of time searching for "the" reference star....
- all were not in TheSky6...my favorite planetarium. I had to surf to CDS, copy coordinates, correct my typos....
- Some target were even unknown of my software (vv cep)...

Therefore, I wrote a small utility :
-1 you type *ANY* reference name for your target
-2 the program checks at CDS and get the coordinates.
-3 should you requires it, the program then slew the mount to the target at your click...
