The Book on 10 Experiments in Astronomical Spectroscopy for Amateurs

Post by Olivier GARDE »

My book has been translated into English and will be available for purchase by mid-May 2026.

I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks to Ken Harrison, Ken Hudson, Tom Love, Peter Velez, Hamish Barker, Robin Leadbeater, and Jonathan Dancer, who did a tremendous job proofreading my translations and also provided insightful comments on certain points discussed in the book.

Here is the cover of the English edition

Highly recommended. Olivier has produced an excellent overview of the key topics in amateur spectroscopy and provides a clear explanation of the tools needed to get started with the astrophysics of these objects.
