Last night, I try to do SS Cyg with eshel spectrograph, not very easy because of the weather (lot of clouds).
The full spectrum, very noisy
Order 34 with H Alpha emission line

Re: SS Cyg
I've always wanted to catch this moment on a CV with the LHires for a long time, now it seems the right moment.
Sum of the 23 x 10 min, R~2380 (35um slit + 600/mm grating): Animation of this 3.8 hours (continuous shoot with the ATIK 414, 23 x 10 minute): Cheers,

Re: SS Cyg
And the H-beta part of the next evening (18 x 10 min):
Enjoy!
Peter
Merged every 2 exposures due to noise (9 x (2 x 10) min):
Processing here was tricky, "wavelength register" feature misbehaved, had to work it around (ref.star was processed only at final stage, with some extra manual work in IRAF needed).Enjoy!
